Technology Director

I joined Forestburg ISD's staff as District Technology Director in the summer of 2015.  I have an extensive background in Information Technology, which includes supervising CompUSA's internal IT Help Desk (1996-2001), Technology Director for Sacred Heart Catholic School in Muenster, TX (2007-2014), and District Technology Director for Saint Jo ISD (2014-15).  My experience includes: Database administration, Windows Server administration, computer repair, customer service, IT management, Unix and Mac OS X, computer programming, ERATE administration, and website development.

I have a BA in History and an MS in Learning Technologies from UNT.  I haveTexas teaching certifications in Social Studies (4-8 and 9-12) and Computer Applications.  I'm a life long learner, and am currently expanding my horizons in Windows Deployment.  

Hobbies:  Playing the piano and paying computer games (MMOs like World of Warcraft, Elder Scrolls, and Star Wars the Old Republic)

Some things people may not know about me:  I have an AAS in Applied Automotive Technology, and worked as an automotive technician for 3 years.  I also graduated from Texas Aero Tech (now out of business) and received my FAA Airframe and Powerplant licenses.  I also was the organist for Saint Anne's Catholic Church in Burleson, TX for several years back in the 1990s.
