FISD Science Fair 2018-19
On Thursday, March 7, Forestburg School had an Science Fair. The students each created a project for display and the Food Science class provided snacks. Judging took place after school in the fair was open to the public at 6:00 pm. The fair was well attended and a great success! On Friday the students were able to go to different stations to participate in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) activities.
The Science Fair winners are:

Elementary
- 3rd Place - Tristan Cumby with "How pH Affects Eggs"
- 2nd Place - Nikolas Clure with "Tin Foil Boats"
- 1st Place - Hailey Schnell with "Relationships of Different Citrus Fruit Acidity and Voltage Output”
Junior High
- 3rd Place - Jaden Meek with "Bristle Bots"
- 2nd Place - Brandi Caporale with "Which Brand of Popcorn Pops Bests?"
- 1st Place - KK Willett with "How Baking Soda Affects Cookies"
High School
- 3rd Place - Christopher Hill with "Spatter Not Splatter"
- 2nd Place - Rebecca Johnson with "Cold Hard Ground"
- 1st Place - Katelyn Park with "Now That's Cool"
