Graduation & College

Graduation

College Preparation

Forestburg ISD is committed to providing the education your child needs to reach his or her potential.  Various high school graduation programs are available from the Foundataions Level to the Distinguished Level.  We offer Career and Technology Education (CTE) courses as well as Gifted and Talented (GT) services.

Dual Credit

College is expensive.  An easy way to help offset some costs is to take Dual-Credit Courses through North Central Texas College.  Dual Credit courses allow students to earn college credit for a course in addition to high school credit.  While we realize not every student is college-bound, we encourage every student to be familiar with these educational opportunities.

Financial Aid and Scholarships

Students are encouraged to sign up on the Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) website beginning January 1st to recieve their FAFSA-PIN to apply for college financial aid. (Not FAFSA.com, which requires a fee.)

Students are given information on thousands of scholarships at the national, state, and local levels that offer FREE money for tuition. Faculity and staff are available to help students with locating and applying for scholarships they may be eligible for.
